EUROPEAN CERTIFICATE IN ESSENTIAL PALLIATIVE CARE (ECEPC)

The eight-week distance learning/home study programme is aimed at doctors, nurses and pharmacists working in clinical practice or who are new to specialist palliative care. Over 2000 candidates have completed the program since its initiation. Feedback from the course is hugely positive with candidates claiming -

“A very practical based course” “access and advice from experts in palliative care really strengthens its applicability to practice” “I brought what I learned to the bedside of my patients who needed a palliative approach”

The course has been awarded 35 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and 50 Continuing Professional Development Points from The Royal College of Physicians Ireland.

This course is provided twice a year. The first course will begin on the 13th of April and the second on the 14th of  September 2015.
